I just want to give a shout out to a man who deserves it, Mr. Jim Shaub. My last video project he helped me record sound in a private room usually reserved for those in the program. And just the other day he tried to save my dead hard drive. He was polite about it and even joked with me about whether or not I'd been abducted by aliens and that may be the cause of why technology breaks around me. And although he was not able to save my files he gave it the good ol' college try. Softwarewise I guess there was nothing to do. If he had this certain case that he asked his boss for but never got, he would be able to save the files. So I said I should start a petition to get him the case.
Most of my stuff was backed up so it wasn't a horrendous loss, but I sitll would have preferred to have everything as files on DVD. Oh well.
Anyway, here's to ya Jim! To the most helpful person I know in the Film and Video department!
